Shu Chen
I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Brown University, advised by Prof. Ugur Cetintemel. My research explores LLM-powered database systems and the broader intersection of large language models and data management. I am interested in building next-generation data systems that integrate semantic understanding, streaming computation, and intelligent optimization. Prior to Brown, I earned my M.S.E. from the University of Pennsylvania and my B.Math from the University of Waterloo.
